Hi all, set off at 4.00am friday for the pain in the arse drive to the coast got to sherringham at 7.oo,picked me bait up from brights opted for rag worm, mussels, and prawns(morrisons),always a good place to chat with other anglers and share info as you buy your bits un bobs.
Decided to go to weybourne as i have fished all the other beaches over the years and never got round to putting me hand in me pocket and pay for parking.
Anyway fished 2 rods one on the bottom and the other with feathers did not get a thing all day not even a nock and did'nt see anyone else do any good either.
Still had a good day as the sun was shinning i was'nt at work and as always chatted to some nice folk which i always find on that stretch of coast the anglers are always pleased to chat and have a laugh.
Im gunna give it another go in a couple of weeks perhaps my luck might change thats the beauty of fishing hey. |

Midlander, sorry to hear about your blank day. My last four trips have all been blanks, all at different venues as well and it's getting quite frustrating. There have been quite a few posts around the subject recently. You sound like myself, it's not all about catching fish, it's a great day out as well so at least we get something from the day. I'm sure when the fish come back from their holidays the word will go around and we'll all be dusting down the rods !
All the best, Neil |
