| How long is a kayak rod? Is it specific for the job? if not there are a lot of short rods out there. |

Have a look on ebay,type boat rods in the search bar.
There are a few on there it will give you an idea of lengths,manufacturers and models
Rabbi2....they are specific rods for the job,mainly about 5ft and some are telescopic

Thanks Darren its just that I have never come accross them before as I have never had the interest in that side of fishing. We live and learn somat new every day lol  |

| Ive got a sea touring kayak and use a 6ft boat rod and find that just fine. I previouly bot a very short kayak rod but it felt like a toy. |
