I fished from 5am to 10am and caught 58 bass and 15-20 mackeral.
Most of the bass were small shoalies about half a pound and about 10 really nice sized fish from about 3-5lb.
I kept one for the pot of 3lb6oz all others returned.

Don`t think i would have got bored if there was the occasional good fish , be tired though a fish every 4 minute 7 seconds for 5 hours is going some , the casting arm must be aching .

Sounds like awesome fishing, we don't get bass much up here on the west coast of Scotland but have been catching some good pollock on the fly in deep shelving areas with lots kelp. Have bee using a white cat's whisker on a high D line. WOuld love to catch any bass. Some people are hard to please.
