Hi Folks, Been thinking, When fishing tidal channels for Bass why not try some groundbait consisting of suitable ingrediants say mashed / tinned fish with somthing to bind it together. It Could move the fish up the channel on a falling tide to your location, encourage feeding, attract prey fish. Anybody tried it or have any thoughts?

Hi George , a couple of friends used to groundbait with fresh mackerel pieces for bass at the anti-submarine blocks at southsea ,it worked but it was a million pout to each bass. I`ve also known river bass to be waiting behind a boat ready to mop up all the dead sand eels that were cleared out of the courges daily.
If you can groundbait regularly i`m sure the fish will turn up.
