The wife hates taking me shopping as I reckon the whole worlds a fly-tying shop. Dragged me into 'Claire's Accessories' the other day and I spotted some brightly coloured hair extensions. Six different coloured bunches for £4. I'm going to give these a swim tommorrow.

| We have something like that over here. We call it a Coho Fly. They're used for Coho salmon. Maybe two to three times bushier, without the eyes. |

Did you buy them yourself , any strange looks ? or did you get the wife to pay for them. One of the problems with fly tying is the looks you get when you buy 5 different shades of bargain nail varnish or lurk about in knitting shops showing a strange interest in lurex thread.
Still, its got to be done a bargain is a bargain ! |

| I'll be back to the shop for more, going by last nights results. Fishing with a mate we had around 150 fish between us - Mackerel, Scad, Pollock and Garfish - with the majority falling to the 'Claire's hair Charlie'. |
