Fished Calshot from 5pm-2am Quite a calm night and caught a few fish no Bass

5 Large Pout 1/2 Largest
2 Dogfish over 1Ib each
1 Smooth Hound pup
1 2Ib Silver eel

The other fish were Pout and a very Large Spider crab well over a 1Ib which i was going to take and cook but thought the better of it and put him back..

Good fun but far too many Pout about even caught the large ones with Sand eels

Think the comp will produce a few

well done! where abouts at calshot were you fishing? and when was it?
have only ever fished by the castl;e and only caught a dogfish! well done x

Fished of the Jetty with a 9,6 Uptide rod lol so a 2Ib eel felt like a 7Ib Bass

So many bites but from Pout..Look forward to fishing the mud flats just as you enter near the sailing Club for Flounder

As for the Comp Jay looking forward to it ..Praying i dont catch just Pout lol

and don't knock pout mate they can win you comp's...see you there mate.
I am looking forward to it will be good to see everyone again.

Lozzy....are you going to the comp? If so and you still want a PINK rod I have one let me know and ill bring it with me.
