Thought i would have a little evening session,all was going well,got all my gear.off i set,i usually walk to tramp ally its only a mile or so from mine,got half way there then "D'oh!"aint gonna catch much without bait! Back i go home laughing to myself and calling myself a moron.ok got bait and get to venue,set up,pull of a damn good cast and hit good deep water,sit myself down and have a cuppa n ciggy,given it 20mins or so and could tell ive hit some weed as ya do,"right better reel in" half a turn on the crank SNAP! PING! Handle has snapped clean off the spindle,couldnt even bodge a repair,forgot spare reel for the first time.so 20mins,my shortest ever fish sesh.but a fellow angler mate did give me a lift home.can anyone beat that?
