I don't know if anyone else has tried hair rigging their baits but my 11yr old did on our latest session. Despite my protests of "stop faffing around", "the bait will fall off", "you won't catch anything like that" etc. Anyway, he ended up with 5 species against my one small eel, so I think I'll be giving it a go myself next trip.
Has anyone else tried this??
Link below is a coarse fishing hair rig if people don't know what one is.

i hair rig mine most of the time with chum mixer on the surface and pellets bellow the surface but bait bands are better for pellets and dog biscuits because evertime you cast with them hairigged theye fall of the hair when its even got a boillie stop in it but pellet bands are quicker and less fiddly |
