RNLI pay enough already, putting their lives on the line day in day out, and Mr Brown wants more, maybe MPs want more cash for second homes.

what happened to us, running this country, its all gone to pot.

As Reelwiz has said this is an old post, but I am glad it has been revived if only to bring it to the attention of members what a great job the RNLI do without any reward save that they have done their bit helping others and avoiding the grief family members go through when the lose a loved one.
Cheers

Oops, I didn't check the date of the original post - smacked wrist! - but, as Keith (Rabbi2) says, it doesn't harm to give the RNLI a little thought. We hope that we never need them but, thank God, that they ARE there if we should actually need them.

Cheers, Geoff

Might be worth adding this to : http://epetitions.direct.gov.uk/

Government are required to debate any petition on this site with more than 100,000 signatures.... (obviously easier said than done).
