Has anyone used or heard of this line?it has an amazingly low diameter for its stated breaking strain.so is it any good?I'm thinking of giving it a go for fishing at distance over clean ground.

Any feedback would be appreciated.

Thanks
Funkel

i used teklon gold for a time it's good .45 on my multi with no shock-leader on my local beach as it gets weedy some times and shock-leader knot would get trapped in the end eye with the weed but fishing this line did not need a shock-leader think .45 was 40.1lb but yes its good but pricey

I use this for light work, excellent breaking strain for diameter, but abraision resistance leaves a lot to be desired even on clean beaches so dont go too light. Also it wont last very long either.

Ok lads thanks for the replys i might give it a go over clean ground.I got my hands on a couple of spools for free one of the spools states a 17.8 pound breaking strain at only 0.22 mm diameter seems almost too good to be true.

Thanks for the feedback.

hi funkel i had a few spools of this. tends to crck off very easily, great care is needed when tying shockleader to it very supple/fragile... the .22 you have is really only suitable for fixed spool, too thin 4 multi.your right it is very expensive... im convinced.. despite wot the makers say..this is boat line ...

Alright shamieboy i haven'nt tryed it yet as i'm waiting on a new reel.It will be used on a fixed spool anyway. If its that delicate i must just use it as a casting line as i do a bit of casting too.

Cheers mate
