If your anything like me you've probably got at least a couple of rig wallets bursting at the seams with ready made rigs that you take fishing with you to cover every eventuality.

I've found that a very easy way to recognise them at a glance without having to remove them from the wallet is to code them with beads.

Wishbone rigs= red beads

3 hook flapper= yellow beads

Bomber rigs=green beads

Pennel rigs= white beads

and so on. If you have more patterns of rig than colours then you move on to double colours.

2 hook clipped down= red and white beads

All you then have to do is write down the code in the front of each rig wallet and theres no more taking out a 2 hook clipped down rig on a dark night on the beach only to find that when you unravel it it has magically turned into a wishbone winking

nice idea

but would cost me a fortune in different beads.

i just look at my rigs and know which is which as i made them.

mind you i did try to write on each folder in my wallet as to which rigs was which, but the ink ran and i couldnt be bothered to put them back in the right folder after an all-nighter and tired
