I use that knot for everything. isnt it the UNI knot. confused

Simple uncomplicated knot..........reverse slip knot, it ain't gonna take any strain after all it is only a restraining knot !!!!!!

a simple slip knot will do,with a couple of twists in the loop before you pass the bit that becomes the loop (if you follow me?)this stops the tag end slipping through,and as its at the bottom of the underneath of your main line and not likely to see the light of day for quite some time,its a doofa,have used this knot for quite some time with no problems at all.no need for over complicated fiddly knots until you get to the business of tackle (shock,rigs etc)
