I am thinking about a small outboard to keep it really econimical.. any ideas? I am thinking about a 20 or 25 4 stroke , and limiting the speed to about 7 knts?

I would rather run a bigger engine at low revs than a small engine at high revs. A clinker built hull would be more suitable for such work.

wilson flyers are very stable sea boats but if you was going to use it comercially it would be too small and i would still consider an engine around 40hp
