Hi guys, im going to pick up my new fixed spool reel tomorrow. I was going to load it with 15lb line for general beach fishing. What knot would you recomend to attach the shock leader to the main line.

Thanks

Phil

I agree with hatter, the Albright makes a very neat low profile job done properly and I have used it for years virtually trouble free.

Have so say I'm with eccles on this one a very strong and tidy knot, and once you get the hang of it easy to tie.

Ive given the different knots ago with some spare line and found the albright alot smaller than the blood or shock leeder knot. Unless its my bad tying. Seems hard to break.

Thanks for the help again guys

Phil
