Hey all, ive heard rumors of people using WD-40 when it comes to fishing and heard it mask's human scent for fishes or it could be they like the oil it gives off??!? i don't know... has anyone tried this method and come out with good results? personally i would not use WD-40 as its not environmentally friendly because it's petroleum based. i would Substitute with something like cod oil if it would have the same effect. if not then i'll go back to what i was doing big grin

Kind regards,

Mr Feather winking

WD 40 is a myth and has been debated on many previous posts just type wd 40 into the search. OK for reels used sparingly.

rabbi2 is correct or in other words it's a load of cods. Stick to the natural stuff when bait fishing my friend, it has served me well for years.
