If you are sick of seeing your bait elastic disappear into the microscopic hole in the top of your dispenser, usually on the coldest night ever when you have left your gloves at home your bait elastic dispenser feels as useful as a hand break on a canoe and trying to re thread the damn thing back through the lid is about as easy as putting a nappy on an eel.
And even worse whilst you are carrying out this surgical procedure you miss the only bite of the night.

However i have come up with a solution to this problem and it has worked very well for me thus far.
If you get top of a Lucozade sport bottle (or similar) you will find that it has a sort of non drip valve in the very tip of it.

You can push this little section out of the lid being careful not to damage the silicone rubber part of it (because that's the part that stops your thread returning into the dispenser).

You then drill a 10mm hole in the lid of your dispenser and fix the bottle lid into it using super glue.

See the attached photo for a better idea of what I mean.

I think this will help anglers up and down the country save millions of pounds a year just on swear jar money.

tight lines folks

And remember that the gods do not subtract from the end of a mans life the hours he spends on fishing.

Brilliant, I'm not a big user of the stuff but I love these cheap and smart ideas for fixing common problems.
