Just thought I ought to say hello as a new member to the forum.
Living in Falmouth and after a gap of over 2o years, when I was fly fishing, have come back to the fold of sea angling.
I used to be a fanaticla sea fisherman when living in Essex and longed for the autumn each year to hit the whiting and cod on the night tides. Now testing the water with a few mackerel sessions at Mylor and a couple of beach sessions at Swanpool and Maenporth. Had mackerel, wrasse and bass so far for my troubles but have heard that autumn is a good time down here for beach fishing for bass and would love to try some flatty bashing up the rivers but not sure where?
Good to be here though and hope I can learn a lot from you guys |

Hayle estuary is quite good for flatties and Bass, had many of both when I used to go about 7 years ago, nice flounders! |

Thanks for the welcome and the advice chaps, much appreciated.
I have been told that Penryn river or Helford is also good for flatties but not sure when and where yet? |
