I fished from 5am to 10am and caught 58 bass and 15-20 mackeral.
Most of the bass were small shoalies about half a pound and about 10 really nice sized fish from about 3-5lb.
I kept one for the pot of 3lb6oz all others returned. |

well i think you got a bloomin good's day's fishing in there!!!!
I would of loved to catch all them fish1 ( i normally blank )

i wouldn't of got bored either , all them time's paying for bait or digging it just to come home knowning i didnt catch well id be happy and also least it past the time away instead of starring and a rod tip waiting for a bite

Well i only started fishing about a year ago so its all good for me.You must be hard to please MJB.

| Don`t think i would have got bored if there was the occasional good fish , be tired though a fish every 4 minute 7 seconds for 5 hours is going some , the casting arm must be aching . |

| Sounds like awesome fishing, we don't get bass much up here on the west coast of Scotland but have been catching some good pollock on the fly in deep shelving areas with lots kelp. Have bee using a white cat's whisker on a high D line. WOuld love to catch any bass. Some people are hard to please. |

i dont know about you mjb but when i go out and im fishing im not pulling in fish practically every two minutes so well done bassfly top fishing there. |
