hi guys i was thinking of fishing porttalbot beach tonight at the end of the steps. its only a low tide and i think its in at 12.30 am ish . does anyone know if it will fish well with a low tide or how it has been fishing

All i know is that they have been catching a few flatties and schoolies down in front of dragon baits area. A few have come off the jackstones too which is by the steps. It must be worth a try. If i wasnt on call i would be up there to see whats happening. Im getting too addicted to fishing i think hehehehe.

hi mate, there are endless places you can go around here, but youd do best by aiming for the gower. not only is it the most beautiful place in wales its probably one of the best fishing areas in the uk. you could go to mumbles pier, which is the start of the gower then make your way west. you will find beaches, coves , cliffs and islands offering every type of fishing you can hope to do.

I can vouch for that I fished their twice, once with shoty and again on mumbles pier. I have every intention of going again even if it is a hell of a trip. keith big grin big grin big grin big grin
