wel id like to know whats the best knot to tie when using tapered shockleader to ultima red ice mono on a fixed spool.

as far as i a aware (correct me if i'm wrong guys) as the ends aof the shockleader and main line to be joined are of equal diameter then a blood knot is ideal.

what a useful link there mick,i generally use the quick shore leader knot,as a fixed spool user,but for tapered shock i have to concur a blood knot would be appropriate.
