Went out today launched at lifeboat slipway around 11ish into a not so nice wind, big grin tested my new anchor reel out worked a treat sat at anchor for a couple of hours thinking why can't i get a bite, thought i would change bait to macky well in doing so found that i clipped my lead to the wrong clip happy and instead of the lead running my bait must have been mid water for every drop down for 2 hours soon fixed that little hick-up and was soon into plenty of bite, hooked up 5 times only managed to land 3 lost 2 at the side of the yak all be it doggies but still great fun, headed in and got home at around 5ish.
