arranged to meet up with ballthebuilder dave yesterday at 5.30am in search of mullet.
boy how much that bit of coastline has changed.we saw a couple of mullet but very slow.dave left around 9am and i carried on .stupid or wishful thinking ?.anyway bumped into another swffer who had seen a few bass feeding, but no capture.saw plenty of mullet jumping around, swear they was waving at me.got back to the car and cooked a egg sandwich, best part of the day.
nice morning to be out but when are the fish going to start falling to the fly.
mick.

hi mick if you are giving the fly a try for mullet. give chicester marina ago. if you go down there at low tide, park outside the cafe and cross to the other side of the marina and a 2min walk throught the woods you will see a natural spit. i was down there a mounth ago and saw loads of mullet. theres plenty in the marina, but unfortunatley no fishing

thanks
phil
