fished hayling last nite.5lb 6oz codling was a good start until the clound cleared and the moon came out.first codling of the year.

Hey Mick, WD. I recall that we had a September codling run 5 or 6 years ago. Looks like it's happening again, I must get down there with some squid which is what I used to catch a 7lber round about that time. No moon required though as you said.

I thought full moon was good for fishing and big tides.well done on the codling

Always goes slow with a bright moon pete.fishtend to be further out.big tides are good.

Fished from 2100 - 0200 had 2 small bass, 1 smoothound, 1 Dogfish
