3 hours up to HT last night, still plenty of whiting though none of the big ones this time for me. Squid as good as sandeel - just as well since I had plenty left from last week. No weed and no moon again (where's it gone?!). So cold the bait didn't thaw on the cutting board. Dead still and misty - heard a motorbikes racing along Ryde Esplanade, and breath hung in a cloud in front of me. Good job there was fishy action to keep me moving.

Not often, I usually go more round to the west, where it starts to straighten off down to Stokes Bay proper, especially when fishing up to high tide. Less weed as a rule.
