No wrecking just inshore, so smoothounds dogfish rays etc. Live in surrey so secondhand sea stuff is limited! any sea fishing stuff is limited. The nearest I have is pages on Hayling!

cheapish boat rod and reel

Hi,

I have done a few charter trips but the rods that I hire seem OK but the reels need a lot to desired. I was looking at the muscle tip combo but in past experience with combos the rods seem ok but the reels are not so good. Any recommendations as the rod will only used occasionaly

I went fishing in the summer on Sea Juicer out of Portsmouth with my son. Never been boat fishing before and Rob the skipper was excellent as was the other guys to a couple of first timers. Had the most fanatastic day even enjoyed catching the mackerel for bait and plenty of tea! I

CHARTER PORTSMOUTH AREA

Hi,

Could any of you recommend a charter boat for my son and I in the Portsmouth, Chichester area. There is just the two of us (so would not need the whole boat!) and we would need rods and bait included. Never done boat fishing before!!

I have a 10ft spinning rod (3oz) reel with 12lb line and spare spool, 2 and 3oz weights. Some boom rigs size 1 hook that I was given. If you going to suggest new kit its got to be cheap as it probably wont get used much! I want to go fishing off south Parade Pier or wall. Just interested in catching...
