It was caught from the habour arm so SHORE. Not sure how much it weighed but it was probably about 14-16 inches long just an estimate cause i didnt bother weighing it and cant really judge how much fish weigh. Any guesses????? all i know is it was big enough to get a couple nice sized fillets off >:)

i used to use a 10ft general purpose rod

but got a 7ft shimano mini or some thing like that.
telescopic so it folds down to about a foot.

meant to be a spinning rod but i use it for evrything

Lynmouth

Just got back from an evening fishing in Lynmouth.

Two pollack on sandeel. also caught 1 on tuesday.

My mate caught a tiny bass and a mackeral on tuesday as wel >:)

i personally dont use live mackerel cause dead works just as well and cuts out uncessary suffering. But then again i am a bit of an animal freak.

yeh couple days ago i found an old tangled rig with about 5 baited hooks in it. An almost foolproof deathtrap for sea birds and marine life. seriously, how hard is it to just put it at the bottom of your fishing box or a bin. managed to salvage 5 hooks, a couple 3 way swivels and a nice big lead wei...
