Dave , many thanks for the reply, the boats got a 3 ltr Mercruiser at 135 HP, she will cruise easy at 25 knots and does 35 on a good day so hopefully it will fight the fast current, had a look on Sunday and you could see it about 6 to 8 knots West to East so going up stream would be a bit slow , but...

Hi , does anyone know of any good Mercruiser mechanics local, my boat has a 3 ltr Mercruiser inboard engine, its at Hartlepool Marina and requires a bit of work doing on it

Man killed last night at New Biggin

Sadly its reported this morning in the Mail that one of our number was killed last night when a cliff collapsed at New Biggin while he was casting off. Its reported that a 50 ft section went down and rescuers tried for 3 hours to save the poor man to no avail
