totally agree with that Tim, hopefully Roy and the rest of us will be too busy catching to worry about BBQ's....so it's down to the bait flavoured sandwiches..lol

Hi Tim, sorry been out the system for so long, bloomin health problems...but I am back now..I think it's time to have another trip, don't you?

I will check the tide tables and weather, see if we can't get out..

Not sure when I am next out, it's a long trip for me having to wait for tides....

Might be moving round to Brightlingsea, have made the application but I believe there's a 4 year waiting list...

30th.October - Southend Boat Trip

Took a bunch of mates out last Saturday on the Boat. The weather was great, the swells were low. Started off on the sandbanks around the Mulberry, Whiting was prolific. Then we moved over to the Darkside, sent a shiver down my spine...lol We sat to the East of Nore Sand, loads of Dogs & Whiting, goo...

As it happens I am down there tomorrow, got Mooring Ropes etc to renew, and few minor maintenance jobs....

Was a great couple of days with great company. Gonna be a great trip....might have to get a barge to tow along for all the grub that Roy is taking along, I better call Thames Coastguard to let them know the smoke isn't the boat on fire it will be Roy and his BBQ =))

I was only relaying what I heard all bloomin day, and as usual muggins here starts the thread that everybody wanted but now deny??? Thanks for that!!

I'll concentrate on my own hobby in future and go fishing when I can.
