eastney today.28th

Post by nthendpompey » Sun Feb 28, 2016 8:29 pm

after hearing reports of some plaice making a appearance, albut small ones, decided to break the bling out and try my luck.due to household duties, couldnt get down until 2.30pm,bang on hw.bit of a eastly wind but sunny.two rods out using ,drop down wishbone rigs,1up 1down rig.single drop down, and d-vice rig.bait was rag, frozen blacks and squid strips.small tings from the off.as the tide eased off chucked out a roliing lead rig.which resulted in a hand size plaice.stayed until 6.30 with only more rattles from tings.first one under the belt ,even though small.
was a brilliant sunset and nice to get out.hopefully nxt time the bigger ones will show.
