Fishing Lydstep ?

hi all, im of camping with the family this weekend down to lydstep was wondering if there where any good spots for a bit of spinning around the lydstep beach area.
any replies very much appreciated.

Yes, lots.

Lydstep has goos rock marks around it, also worth checking out Manorbier & Stackpole areas.

Usual spinners, wedges, toby's, jellies that cast well.

I kayak around there sometimes, i see the spots from the sea, but have no idea how to access them from the shore.

excellent thanks for the info we are staying on a camp site just over the road from lydstep beach i have been on google earth and had a little look on how to get down on to the beach so fingers crossed the weather will be on our side.

fished there years ago on the point good bass and pollack mark but use rotton bottom rigs bit of a tackle graveyard there .

thanks for the help guys.its taken me a month of begging and brownie points to convinced the missus i need to take me rods but fingers crossed it will be worth it. :D

Use to fish the area as kids a lot, there are so many rock marks in that area, but be careful do get rouge waves, the beach in the area are best at night. If you want to take is easy you can always fish of Temby Pier. Good luck!

Tenby Pier?

It doesnt have a pier!

Harbour wall it does have, you maybe able to fish close to either of the lifeboat stations though....

Would waste ANY time on Saundersfoot harbour wall though.

Steps, yes - i think that is where they built the new lifeboat station!
