Menai Straights

Although there are plenty of other area's mentioned on the Welsh coast I have not heard anything about fishing the menai. This used to be a very productive area and feature in many good reports.

Also Bangor Pier has not had a mention for some time which is suprising as it used to be a favourable spot for those who were unable to fish in bad weather with easy access and plenty of shelter where you can sit down and still keep your eye of your gear.

Do people stil fish the pier and the menai of is it a consevation area?

Bangor pier and the Menai Straits are still fishing OK. Get your bait and bits from Malc at ABC at Beaumaris .
