Hi Guys,
The Army Angling Federation will be holding its yearly Cod Rover on the Bristol Channel next year in January.
I was thinking of fishing clevdon pier as its not to far from the services at J19.
I donot no how productive Clevedon pier is for Cod or any other descent marks around the channel
Any advise please guys would be greatfully appriciated

Hi Danny,i would give the pier a miss mate and get down to Sand Point [the knuckles ] on low water and Brean Down on high, the fish be dropping back down the channel soon after christmas, not saying you wont catch around Clevedon or Portishead but thats what i would do personally, that time of the year
Good luck the fish are certainly there at the moment
