The spelling is Rana. I have no experience of them myself. I understand the company have been producing under that name for in excess of 30 years. The early boats being clinker built wooden construction. I believe the latest boats are injection moulded polymer rather than grp. The vessels I've seen struck me as very low freeboard.

hi the rana boat is an ideal first boat to learn in there is hardly any freeboard and become unstable over a force 3 trust me ive had one or two they are a great river boat tho. engine size i would recommend a 15 hp would push at full throttle about 15 knots depending on the weight your putting in it.
hope you enjoy it and learn lots
HAPPY FISHING B-) B-) :-O :-O
