Hi Keith, I've not been fishing for a couple of years [personal reasons] so I'm out of touch with what's going on.
How is Marine Beach fishing these days?

What about the Cadet Base as it has good parking, very short walk and fishes well on occasions. I could arrive at about 1 pm and start start getting set up at about 1.15pm after a nice cuppa in the cafe. LOL

Can't park at the Cadet base, the van won't go under the height barrier. Could park at the boating pond though? not too far to walk.

Cafes been closed both times I've passed recently, thought it was shut down?

It's only 300 yards away - I'm not that old & knackered [yet] :)

Nice to put a face to a name today Keith :) I fished round the corner past the coastguard station close to where I used to fish with a mate. Difference being that we usually fished at night and caught some fish. Today was the exact opposite - nice day though.

A passing cyclist stopped for a chat and told me that no one from 5 barred gate to Fleetwood had caught anything.

Frank

PS I worked it out when I got home and it was just a mile each way to where I'd parked.
